Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern use of Crosby County Released Inmates. Accessing or using the site means that you agree to them. If you do not accept every term, do not use the site or its linked tools.

This privately owned reference is not affiliated with Crosby County, a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers consumer reports or FCRA-covered services for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency; it helps visitors locate Crosby County and Texas inmate and jail-record resources.

Nature of the Website

Crosby County Released Inmates is a private reference resource with no authority to act for any government office. It does not store official records, confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file requests or court papers for a user.

Its pages identify public offices, government locators, release-record routes, and third-party research tools. An outbound link does not turn the linked service into part of this site.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is conditioned on lawful, respectful use. You agree that you will not:

  • use the site while violating any law;
  • use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass anyone;
  • base hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another FCRA-covered decision on site content;
  • attempt access to systems or data without authorization;
  • operate bots, scrapers, or similar automated collection tools; or
  • interfere with the site or another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports

Crosby County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and neither the site nor its advertising partners provides screening services. You agree not to use information found here for:

  • hiring, firing, or other employment decisions;
  • tenant selection or housing screening;
  • creditworthiness or insurance pricing;
  • licenses, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
  • any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Third-Party Destinations

Links may point to Sheriff and corrections resources, government portals, legal-aid information, release records, and outside search providers. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination’s content, privacy practices, terms, data handling, or uptime. Review its policies before proceeding.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant:

  • the accuracy, completeness, or currency of information;
  • continuous or uninterrupted availability;
  • freedom from errors, bugs, or security weaknesses; or
  • the coverage or completeness of partner search results.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement by the Crosby County Sheriff, TDCJ, a court, or another government agency.

Ownership of Site Material

Unless otherwise stated, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Crosby County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, republish, distribute, or modify protected material without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Changes become effective when the updated version is posted. Continued use after posting means acceptance of the revised terms.

Suspension of Access

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice, including when conduct threatens the site, its users, or compliance with these terms.
